joint-painIf you suffer from stiff knees, tight hips, an aching back, sore hands or any type of joint pain for that matter, my guess is that it hasn’t been for days, weeks or even months — but likely years. And you’ve probably tried just about everything in search of relief.

By now, you may have just given up and accepted this pain as something you’ll “just have to live with.”This is nonsense.

What if you could have significant relief within the next 7 days…and up to 42% less joint pain in just a few short weeks…with the pain continuing to significantly diminish after that?

Your doctor might have recommended over-the-counter or prescription painkillers as a way to cope with the discomfort. You might have even considered surgery.

And if you’ve tried going the natural route with glucosamine-chondroitin supplements and it didn’t help much, you’re not alone. For reasons researchers have never quite figured out, while some people do find relief with glucosamine-chondroitin, others get none at all. In fact, many experts now believe that glucosamine-chondroitin is an outdated remedy, since much more effective natural options are now available.

Regardless of what you have tried, if you’re reading this, I’d bet that you’ve gotten very little relief for all of your efforts.

That’s why it’s so important for me to share with you the astounding results from recent clinical research on a powerful healing spice, and how it can end your joint pain for good by addressing the root cause of the problem. So if your joints are aching for relief, I urge you to please keep reading.

An Ancient Solution for Modern-Day Joint Problems

Made from the deeply pigmented yellow-orange root of the turmeric plant (Curcuma longa), turmeric powder has been a culinary and medicinal staple for thousands of years. It’s considered one of the most valuable healing agents in Ayurvedic medicine, an ancient forerunner to what today we call alternative medicine, and has a long history of use for alleviating aches and pains.[1]

For many years, most Americans knew turmeric only as a tasty ingredient in curry dishes and French’s mustard. Recently however, as word of its incredible joint-soothing effects has spread, turmeric has become a “go-to” solution for those on the cutting-edge of natural health, and even mainstream medical doctors are beginning to take note.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Scott Haig writes in a TIME magazine article that he became interested in turmeric after seeing Jerry, a 73-year-old patient who had been taking turmeric capsules daily, “bounce back from surgery.” His curiosity piqued, Dr. Haig began looking into the research on turmeric and joints.

One particular study showed that turmeric blocks production of the protein that turns on the gene that promotes the growth of tiny blood vessels at sites of inflammation. But it wasn’t the research that convinced Dr. Haig of turmeric’s benefits. It was his patient’s remarkably quick recovery from hip replacement surgery.

I love hearing about traditional doctors being “wowed” by a natural solution. And having personally heard so many similar anecdotes about turmeric’s effects on joint health from friends, readers and colleagues, I really wanted to dig into the research to learn more about the science behind its seemingly miraculous benefits.

How to Get the Most Out of Turmeric’s Joint Health Benefits

Including turmeric in your diet as a spice is a great idea, but it’s almost impossible to get the therapeutic levels used in the research simply by adding turmeric to your meals. You would have to consume a massive quantity (roughly 12 heaping tablespoons daily!), so taking a high quality supplement is your best bet.

Over the last several years, most of the clinical research on turmeric has focused on a compound scientists managed to isolate from the turmeric root, called curcumin. Widely considered one of the most powerful compounds ever studied when it comes to promoting a healthy inflammatory response, curcumin is also a powerful antioxidant.

Research has shown that one reason curcumin is so effective at relieving joint pain and providing other health benefits is that it’s a potent inhibitor of the body’s most powerful inflammation-causing chemical, Nf-kappa beta.[3]

But here’s something interesting I uncovered in my research:

In addition to curcumin, turmeric contains a wide range of other beneficial nutrients and phytochemicals, including a special type of polysaccharides calledturmerosaccharides. These beneficial plant nutrients act rapidly on the immune system to help relieve joint pain and restore flexibility.

But because turmerosaccharides are water-soluble (unlike curcumin, which is fat-soluble), they are excluded from the vast majority of turmeric extracts, which are produced using an alcohol extraction method. And as it turns out, if your turmeric supplement doesn’t include these water-soluble constituents, you’re missing out on the full pain relieving benefits turmeric can provide!

That’s why I was so excited to read about a newly developed water extraction method for producing a unique, patented turmeric extract that is super-rich in these specialized turmerosaccharides, making it extraordinarily effective at promoting a healthy inflammatory response and relieving joint pain.
